WHEN YOU ARRIVE
START TIMES
We strongly recommend that participants arrive at the Event Village no less than 30 minutes prior to the start of their event
SAFETY BRIEFING
A safety briefing will be conducted five minutes prior to the scheduled start of each ride.
STARTING
Timings for the various rides are listed below. If you are riding with younger children we would suggest that you position yourself towards the back of the start point. If you are an experienced rider you may want to position yourself towards the start line. We ask that all adult riders be aware of children at take-off.
REGISTRATION AND KIT COLLECTION
All participants are required to register for the ride.
Riders Registration Packs will be available for collection from Bicycle Centre Bendigo (66 Queen Street, Bendigo) on Saturday 19th March from 9:30am to 12pm, or on Sunday 20th March at the registration area of the Bendigo Town Hall from 7am.
CAR PARKING
There is a variety of free and timed car parking available in the immediate area surrounding the Town Hall. We recommend that you car pool, walk or organise a lift to the venue.
STORAGE FACILITIES
There are no secure storage facilities on site so please do not bring valuables to the event. If possible, please make arrangements to store your personal items.
DURING THE EVENT
CATERING
At the event village, food and beverages will be available to purchase throughout the day. These include a variety of food vendors, a coffee cart, hydration station and local community group stands.
TOILETS
Toilets will be at each Aid Station and public toilets are available at Harcourt, Emu Creek, Spring Gully, and the Bendigo Town Hall.
MECHANICAL SUPPORT
There will be no mechanical support available at the event precinct or on the courses.
FIRST AID
Aid Stations will be located around the course.
Water, refreshments and toilets will be available at all Aid Stations.
St Johns Ambulance Service will be providing first aid support at the event precinct and out around the course. There will also be Sag Wagons travelling around the various courses, contact information will be listed on your bib number.
AT THE END
We encourage all participants, guests, supporters and families to join us for FUN and festivities at the end of the course as we welcome the riders and support our local suppliers/donors. Please stay for lunch, have a drink, enjoy live music, entertainment and kids activities.
