THE OTIS FOUNDATION

The OTIS Foundation provides retreat accommodation, at no cost, to women and their families dealing with the challenges of breast cancer.

The hundreds of guests who take advantage of The OTIS Foundation's retreats each year consider it an amazing gift at a time when they need it the most. The OTIS retreats offer time out to relax, reconnect and regroup and for some, a time to create special memories.

Every $75 raised helps to provides one night away for a woman and her family.

BENDIGO HEALTH - SPECIAL CARE NURSERY

Special Care Nursery staff care for all unwell babies. This includes babies that are treated at Bendigo Health and, where necessary, babies that are stabilised and transferred to a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Melbourne for further investigation and treatment.

The unit has specially trained nurses, a paediatric registrar and consultant as part of the team as well as maternity social work, lactation consultants, and allied health professionals. The unit have established links to regional service providers and community care services.
