Every dollar raised helps a family in need, made possible by the generous support of the riding community and the Bendigo Cycling Classic
A group of passionate, community minded cyclists have teamed up with local charities Give Me 5 for Kids and The OTIS Foundation to bring together the Bendigo Cycling Classic. 100% of all funds raised via entry is split 50/50 between the two charities.
This cycling event has been developed to support these two well deserving charities, harness the power of the community and create a FUN, healthy event for locals and visitors alike.
We offer a choice of five rides designed to suit everyone from the serious, lycra-clad bike riders, occasional weekend riders and families who want to have a fun day out meandering through the surrounding picturesque countryside of Central Victoria.
The rides range in distance from 10km (perfect for families) right up to 100km for those wanting more of a challenge. On the day our local Service Clubs will be providing BBQ brekky and there’ll be entertainment for our valued supporters at the Bendigo Town Hall. We encourage visitors from outside Bendigo to have a weekend stay-cation and discover our arts and culture, delicious dining options and diverse retail precincts.
The View Street Challenge, as the name suggests, is a 100m sprint ‘challenge’ up Bendigo’s historic View Street, held on the evening before the Bendigo Cycling Classic. Up to 100 participants will race for the best time, with the winner taking out the inaugural title of VSC Champion.
